Sri Venkateswara College of engineering and technology, Chittoor is a private institution established in 1998 under the affiliation of Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Anantapur. The college is autonomous and is ISO 9001-2000 certified.

SVCET, Chittoor is located on the Puliangudi – Sankarankovil road of Tirunelveli District, Andhra Pradesh and is spread across an area of 80 acres of land with well-equipped labs, central library, auditorium, hostels, ATM and sports facilities. . It also has its own Research and Consultancy laboratory.

Hostel and Facilities

Sri Venkateswara College Of Engineering And Technology, Chittoor provides Hostel accommodation for both Boys and Girls. Both the girls and boys hostels are located about 0.5 (half) kilometres away from the college campus. Bus facility is available for students in between college and hostel.

Boy’s hostel has 269 rooms and the institute is expanding the rooms for the increasing demand of hostels among the students. The Girls hostel has 129 rooms. The hostel rooms are spacious and are well furnished; there are all necessary amenities, required by the students.

The students can choose their rooms in the hostel; Occupancy option is available in the hostel.

Transportation facility is also available for the students; the institute has its own bus service which leaves the hostel at specific time interval.

Apart from all the mentioned facilities, there are many others like:
