Chalapathi Institute of Technology was established in 1995 and is affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada. It has been approved by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. The college in located in Andhra Pradesh

Application and Admission Procedure

How to Apply

The fee is Rs 500 for the application form and can be downloaded either from the official website or directly from the college office.

The UG and PG students are categorised into 2 types:

• A-Category i.e. the Convenor quota
• B-category i.e. management quota

The remaining seats are filled on merit based on their rank in AIEEE along with 45% in the prescribed group subjects in the qualifying examination and 40% for SC/ST.

However, there are some basic requirements for admission to these courses which requires passing the 12^th standard for both the categories in case of B.Tech. Relevant qualification in b.tech degree for admitting to M.Tech branch whereas qualification in any degree for MBA.

Hostel and Facilities

Hostel

The college provides its students with a separate Boys and Girls hostel. Excellent facilities are available in both the hostels. The hostel facility accommodates up to 300 students.
