Scholarships for B.Tech Students

Merit-Based Scholarships: PEC offers scholarships of up to Rs 35,000 per year to meritorious students who secure more than 90% marks in their intermediate or equivalent examination .

Category-Based Scholarships: PEC also provides scholarships to students belonging to SC/ST/OBC/EBC/Minority categories who have an annual family income less than Rs 2 lakhs.

Pragati Scholarship Scheme (AICTE): PEC participates in the Pragati Scholarship Scheme of AICTE, which provides scholarships to girl students pursuing technical education. The scholarship covers tuition fees and other expenses.

Saksham Scholarship Scheme (AICTE): Similarly, PEC participates in the Saksham Scholarship Scheme of AICTE, which supports differently abled students pursuing technical education. The scholarship also covers tuition fees and other expenses.

Scholarships for M.Tech Students

GATE-Qualified Students: PEC offers scholarships to GATE-qualified students who join M.Tech courses. The scholarship amount is Rs 12,400 per month for two years.

Non-GATE Students: Non-GATE students who join M.Tech courses based on their academic performance in B.Tech are also eligible for scholarships. The scholarship amount is Rs 5,000 per month for two years.

Eligibility Criteria for Scholarships

To apply for any scholarship at PEC:

• To continue receiving the scholarship, the student must maintain a minimum of 75% attendance and a minimum of 6.5 CGPA in each semester.
