Scholarships at Government Polytechnic Pune

1. Rajarshi Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Shikshan Shulkh Shishyavrutti Yojna (EBC):

• Applicable to: Students belonging to the economically backward class (EBC) category with an annual family income of less than Rs. 8 lakhs.
• Covers: 50% of tuition fee and exam fee.

1. Dr Panjabrao Deshmukh Vastigruh Nirvah Bhatta Yojna:

• Applicable to: Hostel residents with an annual family income of less than Rs. 1 lakh.
• Provides: Monthly allowance of Rs. 3000 for 10 months.

1. Post-Matric Scholarship Government of India:

• Applicable to: Students from scheduled caste (SC), scheduled tribe (ST), Vimukta Jati (VJ), Nomadic Tribe (NT), Other Backward Class (OBC) and Special Backward Class (SBC) categories with an annual family income of less than Rs. 2.5 lakhs.
• Covers: Tuition fee, exam fee, maintenance allowance and other allowances.

1. Scholarship for Low Economic Background:

• Applicable to: Three eligible students (male/female) based on family income and entrance test merit.
• Covers: Entire tuition fee.

1. Scholarship for Female Students:

• Applicable to: One eligible female student based on entrance test merit, regardless of family income.
• Covers: Entire tuition fee.

Scholarships are disbursed through direct benefit transfer (DBT) mode to students' bank accounts .
