Government College of Engineering [GCE] Jalgaon,was established in the year of 1996.

The College is affiliated to the North Maharashtra University Jalgaon as this University was formed by slicing off the region formerly attached to Pune University. Being Government institute, the students are admitted strictly on merit, which is reflected in the students' continuous excellent academic record.
