Himalayan Institute of Engineering & Technology (HIET), Sirmaur is promoted and fully funded by the Maa Saraswati Educational Trust keeping in mind the needs of students of Himachal Pardesh. The institute is affiliated to Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla and approved by All India council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi.
The institute is started so that the students of 10+2 non medical can avail of the opportunity to enter into engineering profession. The curriculum has been recently revised paying greater emphasis on practical training and technology. It is hoped that a large number of our students will find their rightful places in public & private sectors around the country as well as abroad.
