Scholarships at Atharva College of Engineering, Mumbai:

1. E-Scholarship Scheme:

• Implemented by the Government of Maharashtra for students belonging to reserved categories (SC, ST, VJ, NT, OBC and SBC).
• Eligibility:
  • For the Govt. of India Scholarship Scheme: Annual family income less than or equal to INR 1 Lakh (less than or equal to INR 2 Lakhs for SC/ST).
  • For the Freeship Scheme: Annual family income more than INR 1 Lakh (more than INR 2 Lakhs for SC/ST).

1. Pragati Scholarship for Girls:

• Managed by AICTE for girl students admitted in the first year of any AICTE approved technical diploma/degree program.
• Eligibility:
  • Indian citizen.
  • Passed qualifying examination from a recognized board/university.
  • Valid admission letter from an AICTE approved institution.
  • Not availing any other scholarship or stipend.

1. Minority Merit Cum Scholarship:

• Offered by the Ministry of Minority Affairs, Government of India for students belonging to Muslim, Sikh, Buddhist, Christian, Jain and Parsi communities pursuing technical or professional courses at undergraduate or postgraduate level.
• Scholarship amount: INR 25,000 per annum for hostellers and INR 20,000 per annum for day scholars.
• Eligibility:
  • Indian citizen and belong to one of the minority communities.
  • Secured at least 50% marks or equivalent grade in the previous final examination.
  • Annual family income from all sources not exceeding INR 2. 5 Lakhs.
