Fee Structure Of TCET, Mumbai-Thakur College Of Engineering And Technology

Established in 2001, Thakur College of Engineering and Technology is located in Thakur village locality, Kandivali, Mumbai. The college is affiliated to the University of Mumbai and has been approved by All India Council of Technical Education. The college has also been recognised by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) of the Government of Maharashtra. The institute is private and self-financed.

The college offers various courses at under graduate, post graduate and doctoral level. The students are admitted into the engineering programs on the basis of their ranks in ‘Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (PCM)’ or ‘Joint Entrance Examination (Main)’.

The college has a well-maintained training and placement cell to assist students in finding jobs and internships. Various companies like Arvind Singh Consultants, Capgemini, Infosys, and Tata Consultancy Services etc, visit the campus every year to recruit the students.

Currently, the college has seven departments namely – Information Technology, Computer Science, Electronics and Telecommunication, Electronics, Mechanical, Humanities and Sciences and Civil.

HOW TO APPLY?

Admission in Thakur College of Engineering is carried out as per the norm for Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra state. Candidates seeking admission to the college are eligible for the same only if they qualify their 12th examination with minimum 50% marks with compulsory subjects PCM.

The basic admission criteria are on the basis of merit and entrance examination. The admission can be done online as well as offline.

Offline the candidate have to purchase the prospectus and pay the application fees. Fill the required details and submit the same in time with documents required.

ADMISSION PROCEDURE

Admission to the college is national counselling which is based on the rank of 10 by the candidate in the national exam. If the seats are still vacant the institute will fill the same on the basis of the rank obtained by the candidate in JEE-Mains.

There are two hostels – one for boys and the other for girls. The hostels are well furnished and are meant to provide the services which are best in quality so that the students feel at home. The hostel is located in the college premises and can accommodate up to 255 students.

There is a digital library where there are various facilities available such as Digital Library, 24 PCs connected on LAN, 4 Mbps leased line dedicated internet connection and access to e-resources like online magazines, journals, conference proceedings and institute library content server.

A basketball and football court is available for the sports lover. The facility of the open gymnasium is also available for the customers.
