SKIMS provides different courses, including undergraduate, postgraduate, doctoral, post-doctoral and diploma programs. MBBS program is its flagship course. The institute has more than 50 departments, which include medicine, surgery and allied fields.
SKIMS employs over 5000 individuals. It is a semi-autonomous institute that is not affiliated with any university.
The campus includes a library, medical facilities, sports facilities and other amenities.
SKIMS accepts entrance test scores for admissions. These include NEET UG for MBBS, NEET PG for MD/MS, NEET-SS for DM/M.Ch. and JKBOPEE for nursing courses.
