Fee Structure Of AU, Jodhpur-Agriculture University

The university was established in the year 2013 under the Agriculture University, Jodhpur Act 21 of 2013 by Government of Rajasthan to focus on the holistic development of arid and semi arid regions which covers 6 districts – Jodhpur, Barmer, Nagaur, Pali, Jalore and Sirohi.

It is a public university which is affiliated by ICAR and located in Jodhpur, Rajasthan.

The university has one institute of diploma and three colleges for producing highly competent educated human resources in fields of agriculture and allied sciences.

The motto of the university is to impart excellent education to the students in the field of agriculture and allied sciences in the best possible way. The lush green campus accommodates the working areas, play areas and the residential areas for the students and the faculty. The university has been recognized and approved by ICAR as a development institute for the future.

Application and Admission Procedure

How to apply-

Agriculture University, Jodhpur has only offline mode available for filling applications for admission into its various programmes.

To obtain the application form one has to visit the admission section of the university and buy the prospectus along with the form at a nominal price. The application form is to be duly filled and demand draft of prescribed fee attached to it.

Again the form along with the required documents is to be submitted to the academic section of Agriculture University.

Admission procedure-

For diploma and graduation courses, the marks obtained in 10^th and 12^th standard respectively are considered for merit and then a rank list is formed. The shortlisted students called for a personal interview. According to the final merit and seat availability, students are admitted into the University.

For post graduate courses, the marks obtained in graduation forms the basis of rank list and students are further shortlisted for personal interview. Then final merit list is displayed and students are allotted seats according to the merit and number of seats available.

For doctoral courses, the marks of post-graduation are considered.
