The amount of the JRF/SRF-UGC, CSIR National Fellowship is Rs 31,000 per month for JRF and Rs 35,000 per month for SRF, along with a contingency grant of Rs 20,000 per year.
The amount of the DST-Inspire Fellowship is Rs 31,000 per month for the first two years and Rs 35,000 per month for the next three years, along with a contingency grant of Rs 20,000 per year.

The eligibility criteria to avail the scholarships are as follows-

For merit-based scholarships, students must have passed their Class 12 with a minimum of 60% marks and come under the merit list of the first 1 Lacs students whose annual family income is not more than INR 2.50 Lakh.
For need-based scholarships, students who are in Sc/St or if they are an Army child or if they have a single parent are eligible.
