Scholarships

University Research Scholarship:

Applicable to: Students pursuing Ph.D. in the university.
Expenses Covered: Rs. 5000 per month for non-NET candidates and Rs. 8000 per month for NET candidates.
Eligibility:
- Passed the entrance test conducted by the university or qualified NET/SET/GATE/JRF or equivalent examination.
- Secured at least 55% marks in the qualifying examination or equivalent grade.
- Not employed or receiving any other fellowship or scholarship.

Post Graduate Merit Scholarship:

Applicable to: Students pursuing postgraduate courses in the university.
Expenses Covered: Rs. 2000 per month for two years.
Eligibility:
- Secured at least 60% marks in the qualifying examination or equivalent grade.

Post Matric Scholarship for SC/ST/OBC Students:

Applicable to: Students belonging to SC/ST/OBC categories and pursuing any course in the university.
Expenses Covered: Varies according to the course and category of the student.
Eligibility:
- Belong to SC/ST/OBC category and have a valid caste certificate.
- Passed the qualifying examination with at least 50% marks or equivalent grade.
- Annual family income not exceeding Rs. 2.5 lakh for SC/ST students and Rs. 1 lakh for OBC students.

Note - The University Research Scholarship is tenable for three years and subject to satisfactory progress of research work.
