University of Technology and Management now known as MIT Meghalaya is a private institution in accordance with section 3 of UGC Act. Setup in 2011, is sponsored by the MIT Group of Institutions Pune. It is first institute in India to have introduced cloud computing engineering course in a collaboration with IBM.

They offer admission in 2 B.Tech programs:

• Cloud computing and virtualization technology
• Oil and gas informatics

The eligibility of these courses includes attaining atleast 45% marks in both the 10 and 10+2 level and JEE score. Once the eligibility requirements are met, the students will be called for an interview where their performance will decide their admission to the university.

University of Technology Management offers B.Tech and BBA degrees in various engineering and management streams.

How to Apply

The application procedure for all courses is same.

• The aspirants need to visit the official website and register on the portal.
• Fill in the application form by clicking automated verification link.
• Make the payment of Rs 1000 as application fee through online mode (Debit card/ credit card/internet banking).

There is no offline application form fill up system.

Admission procedure

Admission in B.Tech programs are based on JEE score or on the entrance exam conducted by the university.

Minimum 45% marks in 10^th and 12^th class exam is the eligibility criteria for BBA programs and minimum 50% marks in HSC with PCM or marks obtained in the equivalent exam is the eligibility criteria for B.Tech programs

Admission in BBA programs is based on Telephonic or Personal interview. Academic score is also important.
