Barkatullah university institute of technology was founded in the year 1997 in the city ofBhopal, Madhya Pradesh. The University was formerly calledBhopal University.Itis a self-financing technical institute established in memories of great freedom fighter, Prof. Barkatullah, who belonged to Bhopal. The University formerly known as Bhopal University was established in 1970 in the capital city of Madhya Pradesh. The Barkatullah University has made available an exclusive area of 30 acres out of the available 350 acres of land within the campus for building the instructional and administrative area for the Institute.The Institute also shares facilities of the Health Center, the Computer Centre, Library, Sports and Games fields, Gymnasium, Cultural Hall & Auditorium, etc.
