NCRD’s Sterling Institute of Management Studies (SIMS), Mumbai was established in 1991 with the mission of Rural Development. The institute is approved by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Government of Maharashtra. All the programs are affiliated to the University of Mumbai.
The institute’s objective is supporting the participants in achieving their goals, integrating academic learning with real life business situations through interactive learning methods, preparing the participants to take up innovation and leadership roles in acompetitive business environment .
The motto of SIMS is to build and develop a complete person, a responsible citizen to play a meaningful role in the corporate world and the society as a whole. We create the zeal, excitement and potential in our students to plunge into the world of corporate with total dedication. While the size of management stream has grown bigger, it has added to its feather Master of Computer Application course. The streams of MMS and MCA aim at disseminating Management and Computer education in their up-to-date version with the help of an ever increasing library with umpteen national and international journals including e-journals, computer labs, classrooms and spacious reading room. All these facilities are fully air-conditional.
