The Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences, Karad (KIMS) is located in Karad in Maharashtra. It was established in 1984. KIMS is a private deemed university operated under a trust. The campus covers 57 acres.

KIMS offers many courses in medicine, nursing and allied health sciences. MBBS program is its flagship course. The institute provides postgraduate degrees and diplomas in clinical and basic sciences across 17 disciplines.

KIMS operates independently setting its own syllabus and conducting examinations. It is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and the Medical Council of India (MCI).

Campus includes a 1,000-bed super-specialty hospital, advanced laboratories, libraries, lecture halls and clinical facilities. Admissions are based on entrance tests primarily NEET for both undergraduate and postgraduate courses.

KIMS has different accreditations including NABL and NABH. It has received an 'A+' grade from the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). In 2023 KIMS ranked #151 for Overall by NIRF.
