Seth Gordhandas Sunderdas Medical College is also known as Seth GS Medical College. It is located in Mumbai. It was established in 1925 and it is one of the oldest medical colleges in India. It operates as a government medical college.

The college is affiliated with the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences Nashik. College provides many courses with Bachelor of Medicine Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) as flagship program. It offers postgraduate degrees like MD and MS, as well as super-specialty courses including DM and MCh The MBBS program has an annual intake of 250 students.

Seth GS Medical College has a substantial number of students and faculty. The faculty members are well-qualified and experienced. The college provides different facilities, including hostels for boys and girls, a library, departmental laboratories, a cafeteria, sports facilities and a gym.

Admission to its courses is through entrance tests. The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG) is for undergraduate courses. The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Postgraduate (NEET PG) is for postgraduate courses.

College is approved by Medical Council of India (MCI) and recognized by University Grants Commission (UGC) All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and Bar Council of India. According to India Today, it ranked 11th among medical colleges in India in 2023. Indian Institutional Ranking Framework (IIRF) ranked it 90 out of 100 in same year.

The college has collaborations with international institutes, including a project with the Foundation for Advancement of International Medical Education and Research, ECFMG, Philadelphia, USA.
