Ishan Uday - Special Scholarship Scheme for North Eastern Region:

Applicable to: Students from the North Eastern Region of India enrolled in general degree courses, technical and professional courses (including medical and paramedical) at NIMS.
Expenses covered: Rs. 7,800 per month for general degree courses, Rs. 10,800 per month for technical and professional courses.

PG Scholarship Scheme for SC/ST Students for Pursuing Professional Courses:

Applicable to: Students belonging to Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe categories admitted to postgraduate level professional courses (MD/MS/DM/M.Ch) at NIMS.
Expenses covered: Rs. 7,800 per month for the duration of the course.

PG Indira Gandhi Scholarship for Single Girl Child:

Applicable to: Single girl child admitted to postgraduate level non-professional courses at NIMS.
Expenses covered: Rs. 3,100 per month for two years.

State and Central Scholarships:

Eligibility and scholarship amount vary based on rank in state or central medical university entrance exams and student category.
