AboutKongunadu Arts and Science College, Coimbatore:
TheKongunadu Arts and Science College, Coimbatore was established in the year 1973. It is aided by the Government of Tamil Nadu. It is a co-educational institute. It is accredited by the NAAC with an 'A' grade of 3.64 CGPA. It has been annointed as a College with Potential for Excellence status by UGC which only 3 colleges in the country has obtained so far. It has also obtained the Star College achievement by the DBT.
The college has become autonomous since 2004-2005. The college wants to maintain high academic standards in the state. The college also focuses on making education as a powerful medium and a tool to promote the social and economic development to backward and disadvantaged communities.
