Scholarships

Penkalvi Scholarship:

Applicable to: Students belonging to SC/ST/BC/MBC communities.
Expenses Covered: Varies depending on the course and category of the student.
Eligibility:
- Annual income less than Rs. 2,50,000 for SC/ST and Rs. 2,00,000 for BC/MBC.
- Minimum attendance of 75% and passing all subjects in each semester.

Management Scholarship:

Applicable to: Meritorious students who have secured more than 90% marks in their previous qualifying examination.
Expenses Covered: Rs. 10,000 per year for UG students and Rs. 15,000 per year for PG students.
Eligibility: Maintain a minimum CGPA of 8.5 in each semester.

Faculty Development Fund:

Applicable to: Faculty members attending FDPs, seminars, workshops, or other outside-campus programs related to their subject or research area.
Expenses Covered: Rs. 20,825 per year.

There are other scholarships available at STCAS, including the His Grace Zachariah Mar Dionysius Scholarship, which supports students with good academic records and economically disadvantaged backgrounds belonging to the Orthodox Syrian Christian Community. The college also offers an Employee Ward Scholarship in the form of a fee waiver for the wards of institute employees.
