Fee Structure of GRT Institute Of Engineering And Technology, Tiruvallur

Scholarships for Tamil Nadu Students:

1. First Graduate Scholarship:

• Applicable to: Students who are the first graduates in their families.
• Covers: A portion of the tuition fee (25,000 INR per year).

1. SC/ST Scholarship:

• Applicable to: Students belonging to Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes.
• Covers: A portion of the tuition fee (50,000 INR per year), credited directly to students' accounts.

1. Merit-based Scholarship:

• Applicable to: Students scoring more than 150 cut-off marks in their 12th standard examinations.
• Covers: 50% or 100% of the tuition fee for four years, based on cut-off marks.

1. School Topper Scholarship:

• Applicable to: Students securing one of the top seven ranks in their school in 12th standard exams.
• Covers: 100% of the tuition fee for two years.

Scholarships for Other State Students:

1. Merit-based Scholarship:

• Applicable to: Students scoring more than 80% marks in their 12th standard examinations.
• Covers: 50% or 100% of the tuition fee for four years, based on percentage of marks.

1. School Topper Scholarship:

• Applicable to: Students securing one of the top three ranks in their school in 12th standard exams.
• Covers: 100% of the tuition fee for two years.

Course-wise Scholarships:

• BME, ECE, MECH & EEE: Reduced tuition fee of 60,000 INR per year for all students.
• MBA: Reduced tuition fee of 25,000 INR per year for all students.
• ME - Communication and Networking: Reduced tuition fee of 50,000 INR per year for all students.
• ME - Manufacturing Engineering: Reduced tuition fee of 50,000 INR per year for all students.

Eligibility Criteria:

To avail any of the scholarships mentioned above, students must fulfill the following criteria:

• Submit relevant documents (mark sheets, caste certificates, income certificates) as proof of eligibility.
• Maintain minimum attendance (75%) and academic performance (60%) in each semester.
