Vivekananda Degree College, Kukatpally was established in 2004 and is affiliated to Osmania UniversityThe college was started with 4 groups when established and runs several degree courses in Computer Science, Arts, Science, Commerce and Management. The College was established under Sister Niveditha Educational Society guided by Dr. K.Naresh M.A, Ph.D, as Founder, Co-coordinator, and Secretary of the institution. He is actively involved in giving a new dimension to the college with the vision of making Vivekananda Degree College, one of the best learning centres in Hyderabad and Secunderabad. A variety of teaching and learning techniques are employed to impart knowledge and skills to students at Vivekananda Degree College in its various departments.

Education is a vital instrument for social change. The factors that warrant social change are not static and assume diverse dimensions in different directions. A social change in a right direction depends on the strength and character of the men who constitute the society. The contemporary children and youth in different age groups could be the potential members of the tomorrow’s society.
