MLRIT offers a total of INR 1.4 crore in scholarships annually.

1. Minority Scholarship:

• Applicable to: Students belonging to minority communities (Muslims, Christians, Sikhs, Buddhists, Jains, Parsis)
• Expenses covered: Varies based on course and parents' income
• Eligibility:
  • Admission through merit-based selection
  • Annual income of parents/guardians not exceeding INR 2.5 lakh (UG) or INR 6 lakh (PG)
  • Valid bank account linked with Aadhaar
  • Not availing any other scholarship or fee reimbursement

1. Athletes and Sports Scholarships:

• Applicable to: Students excelling in sports at state or national level
• Expenses covered: Ranges from INR 10,000 to INR 1 lakh per annum
• Eligibility:
  • Admission through merit-based selection
  • Participation in sports events at state or national level
  • Submission of relevant sports certificates

1. SC/ST, OBC and EWS Scholarships:

• Applicable to: SC, ST, OBC and EWS students
• Expenses covered: Full tuition fee for SC/ST; partial fee waiver for OBC and EWS
• Eligibility:
  • Admission through merit-based selection
  • Annual income limits: INR 2 lakh (SC/ST), INR 1 lakh (OBC), INR 8 lakh (EWS)
  • Relevant category certificates

1. Merit-Based Scholarships:

• Applicable to: Students with high ranks in entrance exams (EAMCET, JEE Main, GATE, CAT, etc.)
• Eligibility: Admission based on merit
