VSB Engineering College

was established by V.S.B Educational Trust in 2002 by founder-chairman V. S. Balsamy. A self-financing institution, it is certified by ISO 9001:2008 and is affiliated to Anna University.

It is located at distance of around 13 kilometres from Karur. The campus spans over an area of 32.28 acres with 4, 50, 000 square feet of constructed land.

VSB Engineering College comprises 7 departments providing 6 undergraduate and 3 post graduate courses in disciplines which include:

  • Science and Humanities

Admission into the undergraduate and post graduate courses are dependent on the marks obtained by students in academic or vocational stream in their 10+2 and in Bachelor’s degree examinations respectively.

Hostel and Facilities

Hostel

VSB Engineering College has a large campus area with separate hostel accommodation for boys and girls. The hostels have a recreational hall, multi-gym facilities and indoor games complex for the students.

There is a common room in every hostel having access to television, magazines and periodicals. All hostels have mess facilities with sterilized equipment and steam cookers. The campus has a mineral water plant to provide clean water for drinking and cooking purposes.

Other Facilities

The college has a Communications Skills lab to improve the Technical English and Communication Skills of the students. There are other facilities like- an auditorium with a capacity to seat 1,200 people, fully equipped laboratories, transport services, cafeteria and football ground.

The college has a 24 hours open medical dispensary and on call doctor to attend to any kind of medical emergency. There is provision of ATM services within campus premises.
