Government Dungar College, Bikaner was established in 1837. The college is accredited by NAAC and recognized by UGC. Today this college is one of the premier institutions of Rajasthan, where 22 subjects are being taught at degree level, 17 at post graduate level, and 10 at M.Phil level. Research work is also being carried out for Ph.D degrees in all the P.G. departments. This is the privilege of the college that 85 faculty members are registered and recognized for research work with Maharaja Ganga Singh University, Bikaner.
