Scholarships

Scholarships through Govt. of India for SC and ST students: These scholarships are given to students who belong to the Scheduled Caste (SC) or Scheduled Tribe (ST) categories and have an annual income below a certain limit.

BC/BT/ Special Groups Scholarships: These scholarships are given to students who belong to the Backward Class (BC), Backward Tribe (BT), or Special Groups such as widows, destitute women, etc. The amount of scholarship depends on the annual income of the family and the course of study.

Physical Handicapped Scholarship: This scholarship is given to students who have a disability of 40% or more. The amount of scholarship is Rs. 3000 per year for undergraduate students and Rs. 4000 per year for postgraduate students.

Cash Prizes to rank holders: The college awards cash prizes to students who secure the first, second and third ranks in university examinations. The amount of cash prize is Rs. 5000, Rs. 3000 and Rs. 2000 respectively for each rank.

Merit-based Tamilnadu Educational Trust Scholarship: This scholarship is given to students who have scored above 60% marks in their previous qualifying examination and have an annual income below Rs. 2 lakhs. The amount of scholarship is Rs. 6000 per year for undergraduate students and Rs. 7000 per year for postgraduate students.
