In the academic year 2009-10, as another diamond to the crown of the trust, ULTRA college of Engineering and Technology for women, exclusively for women is established at Madurai – Chennai highway, Madurai – 625 104.

It is founded by Prof. KR. Arumugam, the chairman of ULTRA Trust Madurai. It is the first women's engineering college in the temple city Madurai for empowering the women to contribute the best for the growth of global economy.

The college is located 6 Km from Madurai Mattuthavani bus-stand on Madurai – Chennai Highway. Winners always do things differently, as like, starting from the building construction, it is the one & only engineering colleges that offers Mechanical Engineering course exclusively for women in Tamil Nadu.
