Sudharsan Engineering College (SEC), Pudukkottai was established in 2000 is one of the leading engineering colleges in Tamil Nadu. The college is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education and is affiliated to Anna University of Technology, Tiruchirappalli. It is an NBA accredited institution and has been managed by Sudharsan Educational Trust with the aim of disseminating knowledge in the fields of science, engineering and technology in the rural district of Pudukkottai.

The mission of the institute is to offer the highest quality engineering and management education in a backward area and bring out engineers with state of the art professional skills, to protect the safety, health and welfare of the society through Sudharsan.
