Fee Structure of Usha Mittal Institute Of Technology (UMIT) , Mumbai

1. Government of India Scholarship Scheme: Applicable to students whose annual income is up to one lakh rupees and who belong to SBC/OBC/VJ/DT/NT categories. For SC/ST students, the income limit is up to two lakh rupees.
2. Freeship Scheme: Applicable to students whose annual income is above one lakh rupees and who belong to SBC/OBC/VJ/DT/NT categories.
3. EWS Scheme: For students belonging to the economically weaker section (EWS) category, with an annual income limit of up to eight lakh rupees.
4. Minority Scholarship Scheme: For students from minority communities (Muslims, Christians, Sikhs, Buddhists, Parsis and Jains), with an annual income limit of up to six lakh rupees.

For a BTech course, the annual fees for an open category student are 146000 rupees, while for an EWS student it is 90000 rupees and for an OBC student it is 86000 rupees.

• Eligibility criteria:
  • The student must be a citizen of India and a resident of Maharashtra.
  • The student must have passed the qualifying examination from a recognized board or university.
  • The student must have secured the required marks or rank in the entrance exam (such as MHT-CET or JEE Main).
  • The student must have a valid caste certificate and income certificate issued by the competent authority.
  • The student must have a bank account linked with Aadhaar card.
