Sports Scholarship: Awarded to students who have represented the state or national level in sports or games. The scholarship amount varies based on the level of achievement.
Dr. KCG Verghese Memorial Award: Given to the best outgoing student from each department annually. Includes a gold medal, certificate and a cash prize of Rs. 10,000.
Bright Student Award (Chief Minister's Merit Award): Awarded to the top three rank holders in each branch during the first year of B.E./B.Tech. Includes a certificate and a cash prize of Rs. 25,000.
Dr.KCG Memorial Scholarship - Merit Cum Means Scholarship: For students with over 80% marks in their qualifying exams and an annual family income below Rs. 2 lakhs. Covers tuition and hostel fees for four years .
Minority Scholarship and Non-Minority Scholarship - Given by Central Government: Given to minority and non-minority community students respectively. Amounts are Rs. 25,000 per year for B.E./B.Tech and Rs. 30,000 per year for M.E./M.Tech students.
First Graduate Scholarship - Government of Tamil Nadu: For students who are the first graduates in their family, covering tuition fees for four years .
BC/MBC/DNC Scholarship - Government of Tamil Nadu: For backward class, most backward class and denotified community students, covering tuition fees for four years .
Converted to Christianity from SC/ST - Government of India/Tamil Nadu: For students who converted to Christianity from scheduled castes or tribes, covering tuition and hostel fees for four years .
SC/ST Scholarship - Government of India/Tamil Nadu: For scheduled caste or tribe students, covering tuition and hostel fees for four years.
