Institute of Engineering and Technology was established in 1998. The college has been approved by All India Council of Technical Education and is affiliated to Rajasthan University. The college has been accredited by NBA. It is located in Alwar, Rajasthan.
The college offers various courses at under graduate, post graduate and doctoral level.
The admissions to various courses are merit based. For under graduate engineering courses, the candidate must have a valid score in JEE(Main) .
For post graduate admission in engineering courses, the college accepts a valid GATE score
The college has a dedicated training and placement cell to help the students secure decent jobs after graduation. Various companies like HDFC Bank, Wipro Technologies, ICICI Prudential etc visit the campus every year to recruit the students for various job profiles.
The college provides all the modern facilities to its students. Well maintained libraries with a good collection of books, auditorium, spacious classrooms etc. are some of the features of the campus.
Hostel and Facilities
Hostel
The campus of IET Group is spread across over 30 acres of lush green land. It provides the hostel facility to its students. It consists of 2 hostels; 1 for each, boys and girls. They both can accommodate 2000 students collectively. It is facilitated with 24 hour of water and electricity supply. Electricity is available 24 hours with total capacity of 450 KVA.
The rooms are well furnished with a bed and a study table. The institute also provides gymnasium equipped with modern machines.
Other Facilities
IET provides the facility of shopping complex which includes 6 shops. Students can buy engineering books, STD/PCO, photocopies, fresh fruit-juice and dispensaries etc from there.
It also provides banking facility to the students and teachers with 24 hour functioning ATM of Punjab National Bank in Campus premises.
More than 30 computer labs are there with 2000+ computers with latest configurations and software.
The institute premises have cafeteria and auditorium which extends over the land of 6000 sq. with the capacity to hold 1000 people.
The library has more than 53000+ books to read which cover topics from fiction, politics, competitive exams and academics etc.
