Merit-based Scholarships

1. Student's Scholarship: Awarded to students who secure the highest marks in university examinations. 
2. Cash Prizes to Rank Holders: Given to students who achieve the first, second, or third rank in their courses during university examinations.

Need-based Scholarships

1. Tuition Fee Waiver Based on Poverty: Granted to economically disadvantaged students whose annual family income is less than Rs. 2 lakh. The scholarship covers full or partial tuition fees based on income certification.
2. Trust Scholarships and Special Endowment: Funded by various trusts and donors supporting needy and deserving students. 

Category-based Scholarships

1. Scholarships through Govt. of India for SC and ST Students: Provided by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment and the Ministry of Tribal Affairs for Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) students. These scholarships cover tuition fees, maintenance allowances, books allowances, etc.
2. BC/BT/Special Groups Scholarships: Offered by the Department of Welfare of Backward Classes and Tribes for Backward Classes, Backward Tribes and Special Groups students. These scholarships also cover tuition fees, maintenance allowances, books allowances, etc.

Disability-based Scholarships

1. Waiver or Concession for Blind Students: Given to visually impaired or blind students, covering full or partial tuition fees based on their degree of disability.
2. Scholarships for Students with Disabilities: Provided by the National Handicapped Finance and Development Corporation of India for students with disabilities such as hearing impairment, locomotor disability, mental illness, etc. These scholarships cover tuition fees, maintenance allowances, books allowances, etc.
