Arunai Engineering College (AEC) is a private college located inThiruvannaamalai in the state Tamil Nadu.AEC was founded in 1993 by Thiru E. V. Velu, on behalf of the SaraswathiAmmal Educational Trust.

The college is located on the Chittor – Cuddalore national.

The institute has been approved by AICTE and is affiliated to Anna University.

Application and Admission Procedure

How to Apply

The institute offers B.Tech, M.Tech and MCA (Masters of computers application) courses. A candidate having 10+2 with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized board and for post graduate course degree in the specified field from a recognized University is eligible for college’s application.

Online Method: A candidate can download the application form from the college’s admission portal. After filling the relevant details and attaching documents required the form should be send to college along with a demand draft of Rs 350 in the favor of “Saraswathi Annual Education Trust” or it can be send by post with an application fee of Rs 400.

Offline Method: The candidates can go directly to college’s administrative office for collection and submission of application form.

Admission procedure

Admissions are done on merit base as per the marks of class 12^th or percentage of college in under graduation. The merit is released around month of June. Reservations are provided for SC/ST/DNC/MBC.

The library has 40385 volumes of books and journals on various branches which are classified as per the Dewey Decimal Classification Scheme. They have subscription to E-journals and the facility of OPAC. There is a photocopy facility within the library.

The college organises a 10 day camp where the students are directed to impart education to the weaker sections of the population as well as an in-plant training for 10 days as a part of their extra-curricular activity.
