Kgisl Institute of Technology was established in 2008 by Padmashree DR.Bakthavathsalan. It is popularly known as KITE. It has been recognized by many organizations like AICTE, NAAC, NBA, Anna University, Chennai etc. It is a private engineering college.

This engineering college is situated in Saravanampatti in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu and its campus are spread over across a large area.
