Government Women Engineering College (GWECA), Ajmer was established in 2007 as an autonomous institute of Government of Rajasthan. It is the first and solitary women engineering college of Rajasthan in the whole Northern India. The vision of the college is to provide sustainable quality technical education, training and an invigorating environment to young aspirants to promote creativity and stimulate innovative thought process in the students to mould them to meet the growing challenges of the industry and diverse societal needs which will lead to build a powerful and healthy nation.
The mission is to develop GWECA into a centre of excellence in technical education by equipping and furnishing progeny with dexterity, erudition, leadership qualities and a perspective to conduct research at the cutting edge of the technology to successfully meet the challenges posed by globalization. The college is relentlessly striving hard to achieve and maintain the excellence in the sphere of academics, infrastructural facilities, practical training and personality development programmers for the young aspirants.
Government Mahila Engineering College, Ajmer, Rajasthan was the first and only women engineering college in North India. The college works for the establishment of a premier institute that imparts sustainable technical education and training to the students and prepares them for a better future through an overall development approach. The college offers bachelor's of technology in computer sciences, electronics, information technology and the like with a special program for masters in business administration.
