Mahatma Gandhi University in Kottayam has hostel facilities for both boys and girls. The hostel facilities include rooms and a mess. The rooms can accommodate up to 4 members. 

Food - The mess provides food 3 days a week with chicken, 2 days with fish and one day with an egg.

The hostel fee is approximately Rs. 36,000 per year. This fee includes the cost of accommodation and food. Registration for the hostel is available only for students who live beyond 100 km from the college locality. There are also PGs and rent houses available near the college for those who prefer off-campus accommodation.
