Fee Structure of BR Ambedkar Bihar University (BRABU) , Muzaffarpur

State government-based scholarship/freeship programs: These scholarships are available for students who belong to SC/ST/OBC/PwD categories. They cover almost 100% of the tuition fees and other expenses .

National Scholarship Portal (NSP): This central government initiative provides scholarships to students from different backgrounds and levels of education. Students can apply online through the NSP website.

Post Matric Scholarship Scheme: This scheme is for students who have passed the matriculation or equivalent examination and are pursuing higher education. It covers tuition fees, maintenance allowance, books and other allowances.

Merit-cum-Means Scholarship Scheme: This scheme is for students who have secured at least 50% marks in the previous examination and whose annual family income does not exceed Rs. 2.5 lakh. It covers tuition fees, maintenance allowance and other allowances.

BR Ambedkar Bihar University, Muzaffarpur provides hostel facilities for both boys and girls. The hostel rooms are double sharing which means two students are accommodated in a room. The hostel fee is approximately INR 1.95k for both boys and girls.

The hostel fee includes accommodation and meals. The hostel provides a meal three times a day.

Facilities - 

• These include sports facilities where students can play basketball, football and cricket. 
• The hostel also has laboratories equipped with all the necessary apparatus and lab assistants for the benefit of teachers and students. 
• The college cafeteria is maintained by a separate mess staff.

The hostel accommodation is not mandatory for all students. It is available to those who opt for it.
