Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Technology is a public-private relationship college located in Roihini Sector-22, New Delhi. It was established in 1999 and is affiliated to the Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University.
The campus is an urban one covering an area of 40.50 acres. The institute is enshrined with the motto “work gets accomplished by effort, industry, not merely by wishing”.
The college maintains separate hostels for boys and girls. The boys’ hostel has a capacity of accommodating over 250 students. Each hostel has its own mess system. The hostels are equipped with all necessary facilities.
The library has rich resources to study with thousands of books, journals and video lectures.
The institute has sports like Table Tennis, Carom board, hockey, football and cricket. Apart from these, there are separate Squash, Lawn tennis and Basket Ball Courts as well.
Amphitheatres, auditorium, mini-auditorium are also located inside the campus that act as a platform for the students to showcase their talents in Music, Dance or any other performing art.
A Union Bank of India branch is located inside the campus along with ATMs of OBC and Bank of Baroda banks.

How to submit the application form?
As the college is affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, so applicants have to fill the form of the university and not of the college. You can fill the form online by following the instruction given below:
The first step is to visit the official site of IP University and do the registration.
The second step is to fill the personal and academic details in the application form carefully.
The third step is to upload passport size photo, signature and left thumb impression.
The fourth step is to upload all the relevant documents.
The fFifth step is to select the course or courses.
The last step is to submit the application form by submitting the application fees which is Application fee is rupees Rs 1000 only for each course.
Admission Procedure
Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University conducts Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha Common Entrance Test (GGSIPU CET) through which it gives admission to the students. The university also accepts scores of exams such as CET and JEE. After the result of entrance exams, students will be called for counselling by the University.

- On campus, Hostel facilities are only available for boys and no on-campus girls hostel is available so far
- The hostel has over 40 single seater rooms, 65 double seater rooms and 7 four-seater rooms
- Common room, gymnasium and sports facilities are also available for hostel residents
- There are a total of four blocks which have a total capacity of 186 students
- Internet connection is provided in each room on regular basis.
- Girls hostel is at about 2 km from the main campus and is situated off the main area
- Hygienic mess facilities available along with wide dining space.
Other Campus facilities
- Facilities for both indoor as well as outdoor games like Table Tennis, Carom, Lawn tennis, Cricket, Basketball etc. Is available on campus with dedicated infrastructure
- First Aid Medical Facilities with a full time and well-qualified doctor available within the campus during daytime. A special discount is also given to students to get treatment at Maharaja Agrasen Hospital, Punjabi Bagh
- Two popular and hygienic canteens and cafeteria

Eligibility
1) 3 year Law Degree Course - A candidate who has graduated in any discipline from a recognized University can appear for L.L.B. course
2) Integrated Degree Program - Candidate must have passed 10+2 Higher Secondary Exam or an exam cosidered to be equivalnt to 10+2 Higher Secondary Exam can enrol for integrated degree program (LLB and a first degree in any other subject).
Candidates who have obtained 10+2 Higher secondary exam certificate or a graduate degree after taking up other courses through distance mode are also considered eligible for integrated degree course. But those candidates who have obtained 10+2 Higher secondary exam certificate or a graduate degree through distance mode or from open universities without any basic qualification are not eligible for admission into law courses.
Minimum marks for admission into law courses -
1) 40% for SC/ST candidates
2) 45% for other candidates
Remarks
The college is pretty good. It is one of the top colleges of in the city. The college provides admission based on entracetest and also management seats. Like any other college, the management seats are pretty expensive. Though I got admission through the entrance test.
Entrance Exam
For admission I gave the jee mains as well as the UPSEE. Though I applied with my jee marks in this university and got selected I was even called for a basic interview process. It is very easy. You can ally online through the website as well as offline I applied offline by visiting the university. You can get direct admission through management quota too.
Fees
The fee for the B.tech program is 1.2 lakhs which needs to be paid in two installments. I think the fee for the college is pretty descent as compared to other colleges. Though, the students have to pay a descent sum around 50,000 at the time of the counseling only.
Placements
Like any other top college, the college offers 100% placement. Though, DELL, IMB, Infosys and other recruiters are common recruiters in the college. The average placement of the companies is pretty descent with the package being around 4 lakhs. Though, this depends on your branch and merit as well. Some of the top recruiters are TCS, L&T, Newgen, Libsys, Hindustan Copper Ltd.

Alumni
The seniors are very friendly and understanding. Though, through my interaction with them, they all seem to be very supportive and have helped me in many occasions regarding assignment and even career advices.
Faculty
The faculty of the college is professional and at the same time are humble and understanding. The teachers are unbiased and do not just give marks on face-value. You have to earn each and every mark but attending lectures and labs and completing and submitting the assignments on time.
Campus Life
Being a reputed college, these is hardly any bullying. The campus life is great as you getb to meet a lot of people. The gender ratio is around 1:10 i.e 1 girl and 10 boys. Though this is not the case with every course. Maybe that’s the case of engineering branches in all over India,
Academics
The crowd of the college is pretty diverse which is great thing. Delhi being an educational hub you can find students from different states. Though there are a sizeable number of students from the city itself. The college also organizes a so-called fest. There is absolutely no use of going to that fest. But the best part is you can visit the fests of other colleges as well.
Internships
I haven’t been asked to do any internship yet. Though, faculty and seniors have told us , that we will have do the internships at some point. Also, the students have to find internships themselves. That what I have heard.
Loans and Scholarships
The college does not provide any loan or scholarship facilities. But I think loan can be availed at the banks since the college is a reputed one.
Remarks
Perfect balance between academic curriculum as well as extra curricular activities. The management of the college is great and i would surely recommend this college to the students. Some of the facility of the college are great library, could go canteen, auditorium etc.
Entrance Exam
Get admitted into the college i gave the GGSIPU CET entrance test. I choose this college as the MBA program of the college is very reputed in the country. Also the free charged buy them is very less as compared to other colleges.
Fees
The fee of the college is affordable . I have paid around 1.1 lakh rupees per annum. Some scholarship programs to students who are not financially strong or belong to the weaker sections of the society.
Placements
Placement of the college is good it has a separate placement cell which takes care of the students and brings a lot of companies to the campus. Over hundred companies game during placement season during my time. The average package that was offered was around 4 lacs. Also around 90 percent of the students got placed
Hostel and Facilities
The college provides hostel facilities and the boys hostels can accommodate around 200 boys. Also the rooms are provided on single or sharing basis. The fee also depends upon the hospital chosen by student. There is a proper mess which provides good tasty and hygienic food.
Alumni
There is healthy relationship between seniors and juniors. The college also has tight ragging policies therefore there is no ragging. Also the alumni was invited sometimes to the college where they came and motivate ask through there lectures.
Faculty
There in the college is very experienced as well as they have at least 10 years of experience in the field. They are frank and joke around us but thats not all they are also strict when it comes to academics and even scold you

These are some of the best labs in an engineering college in Delhi, and a lot many kinds of equipment are present. The use of almost all kinds of machines is a part of the curriculum, so that is the good point. The college is very rich in sports activities and there is a lot of sports you can pay from.
Academics
Exam Structure same as IP university. We used to have 2 internal theory exams, 1 internal lab practical, 1 external lab practical and then finally external theory examination for each subject in each semester. But this format has been changed 2 years back. Now they have only one internal theory examination.
Internships
College suggested us some companies to join for internships. They don't provide much help to get into companies. This point needs to be improved. We found it difficult to find internships. Doing an internship in the second year is mandatory and you get marks for it.
Loans and Scholarships
Only Meritorious Students are awarded the Scholarships by the Maharaja Agrasen Institute of technology. This Scholarship is in the form of fee waivers and financial assistance. I don't think college provide any loan facilities, you have to arrange it all by yourself.
