Bahra University is a state private university located in Kiarighat, Shimla. It was established in 2010. Campus spans 25 acres and accommodates over 2,000 students including more than 100 international students.

The university offers more than 50 courses in fields like Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Law, Hospitality and Management. Engineering is flagship program.

Bahra University is recognized by University Grants Commission (UGC) and approved by Bar Council of India (BCI) and Pharmacy Council of India (PCI). It does not have affiliated colleges. For BTech courses students can use scores from JEE Main or HPCET.
