Sanskrit Scholarship:

Applicable to: Every student enrolled in a Sanskrit core course
Eligibility: At least 75% attendance in each semester
Coverage: INR 500 per month during the entire course duration

Merit Scholarship:

Applicable to: Students based on attendance and merit. Scholarship amount for MA courses:
- First rank holder: INR 2000 per month
- Second rank holder: INR 1500 per month
- Third rank holder: INR 1000 per month

Fellowship (for M.Phil and Ph.D students):

M.Phil:
- Fellowship: INR 3000 per month
- Contingent grant: INR 3500 per year
Ph.D:
- First two years: INR 10,000 per month
- Third year: INR 12,000 per month
- Contingent grant (each year): INR 3500

Tuition Fee Waiver:

Applicable to: Candidates belonging to SC/ST categories
Coverage: No tuition fee payment required
Also exempt from examination fee as per SC/ST department grant

Eligibility criteria depends on the course and student category -

Sanskrit Scholarship requires at least 75% attendance.
Merit Scholarship requires a minimum of 55% marks in the qualifying examination.
Fellowship eligibility involves clearing an entrance test and interview conducted by the university.
