The Sai Nath University, Ranchi has been established and incorporated by Jharkhand State Legislature through its official Gazette and recognised as per section 2(f) of UGC Act 1956. The university till offer courses in different disciplines like Engineering, Law, Social Science, Travel & Tourism, Hospitality, Allied Health, Management, Communication, Jewellery Management etc. rolled out in phases.

Eligibility
1) 3 year Law Degree Course - A candidate who has graduated in any discipline from a recognized University can appear for L.L.B. course
2) Integrated Degree Program - Candidate must have passed 10+2 Higher Secondary Exam or an exam cosidered to be equivalnt to 10+2 Higher Secondary Exam can enrol for integrated degree program (LLB and a first degree in any other subject).
Candidates who have obtained 10+2 Higher secondary exam certificate or a graduate degree after taking up other courses through distance mode are also considered eligible for integrated degree course. But those candidates who have obtained 10+2 Higher secondary exam certificate or a graduate degree through distance mode or from open universities without any basic qualification are not eligible for admission into law courses.
Minimum marks for admission into law courses -
1) 40% for SC/ST candidates
2) 45% for other candidates
Remarks
The college is one of the best in the city and has a good management. Though the placements are a bit less and it should focus on getting more companies during the placement season.
Entrance Exam
For admission into any of the course offered by the college students are mot required to go through any entrance test. The university does not conduct any entrance. Admissions are just based on yiuor class 12th marks which varies as per your choice. But I think you should have atleast 50%.
Fees
The fee charged by the college for their b.tech program is pretty reasonable which is around Rs 40k.
Placements
The college has a dedicated placement cell which provides guidance to students. The placement in CS and IT is around 95% and for other braches more than half of the batch gets placed in companies like TCS, Wipro, DELL, IBM etc.

The faculty of the college is great. They take extra time to teach us important concepts also help us implying those when we go for industrial visits. The faculty provides guidance you in case you want to go ahead for masters or research programs.
Campus Life
The college has a beautiful infra and you get to know a lot of ppl from different cultural background. This way it is fun. Though the college should more on providing extra-curricular activities so that the students can relieve the academic stress.
Academics
The exam structure of the college is very disciplines. Exam are conducted on time and students get enough time to prepares. It also focuses on labs and practical knowledge and not just textual content. The labs of the college are well maintained. Overall the structure is very good. The college follows the semester system and every year you have 2 sem. To clear the semester students have to clear the mid sem and end sem exams and timely submit the assignment given by the professors and they also carry some marks/credits. Labs are part of the curriculam and some marks are provided for that too. The candidate should have a good attendance in both semester as as well as lab visits.

Remarks
It is one of the best college in the country. The placements are great and it provides all the basic facilities. Balancing studies and free time by students is very easy and ragging is banned her and seniors are also very friendly and helpful. It is also an anti drug institute so drugs and other intoxications are strictly prohibited and strict action is taken if one is caught in the act.
Entrance Exam
Admission into this college is based on cat/mat/xat etc entrance scores. Also students of this university are admitted based on their UG scores. Though all shortlisted students have to go through the GD and PI round.
Fees
The college fee is around 1.2 lakhs per annum. I think it is pretty reasonable for a middle class person to afford this.
Placements
The placement record is very good. Average package offered in placements has been INR 6-7 lacs per annum. Major companies that visit the campus are: GenPact, Accenture, Siemens, Wipro Technologies, American Express, Vodafone, Marvell India, InfiNeon, TCS-Eserve, Trident, Godrej & Boyce, SAP LABS, S.T. Microelectronics etc.
Hostel and Facilities
The hostel fee ranges from Rs 40,000 to Rs 1,00,000. The rooms are provided on the sharing as well as individual rooms. Rooms are sahred by either 4 or 2 students. The fee of the latter is higher. Overall, I can say the hostel has a number of facilities including wifi and tasty food.
Alumni
The college has a strong alumni base and they viist us often as guest speakers and for seminars. They even come during the placement season to guide students. My seniors were the best. They helped me a lot with academic and other stuff.
Faculty
The teachers of the management department are very qualified and also carry industry experience. They are helpful and supportive. They even tell us their own college and corporate experiences. I don’t know about the faculty of other departments.
Campus Life
The canteen is great. Other than that wifi, library, labs are also good. Whole campus area is covered with Wi-Fi connectivity and there is also a campus cafeteria for students. There is diverse culturally and there is no kind of discrimination here. The college has various extracurricular activities such as product mela, guest lectures, flash mob, and other events.
Academics
The college puts special emphasis on assign,ments, projects, presentations, internships, industrial visits etc. The exams are easy if the student understands understands both the practical and theoretical concepts.
Internships
When it comes to internships you have two choices wither get an internship on our own or go for the internship provided by the college. Internships are crucial as most of the companies hire interns after graduation if their performance is good. Some of them even offer stipends.
Loans and Scholarships
No the college does not provide any scholarship or loan facilities. But students can avail various state scholarships provided by the state and central government. The candidate has to fulfill the criteria laid down and also fulfill the domicile criterion.
