Neotia Institute of Technology, Management and Science, which is situated in Kolkata comes under the affiliation of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology, in West Bengal. The college was established in the year 2002 and has been setup on a lush green 32 acres piece of land.

The infrastructure contains smart learning enabled classrooms and excellent Wifi connectivity. Students are also provided with bundle of opportunities, beyond academics, to explore and learn through several clubs & societies for technical learning, photography, culturals, music, drama, nature, entrepreneurship. The college also conducts seminars, workshops and conferences on a regular basis.

The Institution currently offers B.Tech degree in Computer Science Engineering and Electronics & Communication Engineering. Application forms are available on the website and students can apply using their WBJEE or JEE Main score.

The shortlisted students are then invited for the counseling process conducted by the college where the students are further screened, after which admissions are made for the selected ones.

Application and Admission Procedure

The students need to secure a minimum of 50% marks in the 10+2 with Physics and Math as the compulsory subject to enroll them in this college.

The admission is restricted to students who will only be selected by Central Selection Committee through various counseling sessions.

The students need to appear for the WBJEE or JEE-Mains to become eligible to apply to the college. They will be enlisted to the counseling sessions if they have secured a valid rank in the entrance examination. The students than can put up their choice of the preferable college depending on their rank and the college will then put up a merit list of the selected candidates.

Hostel and Facilities

Hostel

The Institute offers hostel facilities for its male and female students respectively. It currently has 6 well-planned hostels, one of which is for the girl students. The rooms are spacious and comfortable.

Every hostel is supervised by a warden and faculty-in-charge, and every building has its own well-equipped kitchen that prepares healthy food in canteen facilities where the students can eat daily.

Every hostel also possesses a common room, which has various indoor gaming facilities such as table tennis, carrom and chess. Each hostel also has its own individual basketball and volleyball courts attached to it.

The NITMAS campus is spread over a 35-acre area, and is located in the suburban area of Kolkata, West Bengal.

It is fully Wi-Fi enabled, and provides facilities such as state of the art labs, smart classrooms, a well-stocked and digitized library, indoor and outdoor sporting facilities including a swimming pool, seminar halls, a department store, banking services, laundry services, a tea junction, as well as wellness amenities.
