Scholarships

Merit Scholarship:

Applicable to students who secure 80% or above marks in 10+2 or equivalent examination.
Covers Rs. 20,000 per year for four years of B.Tech course.

Merit-cum-Means Scholarship:

Applicable to students who secure 70% or above marks in 10+2 or equivalent examination.
Annual family income must be less than Rs. 2.5 lakhs.
Covers Rs. 15,000 per year for four years of B.Tech course.

Special Scholarship:

Applicable to students belonging to SC/ST/OBC/Minority communities.
Annual family income must be less than Rs. 2.5 lakhs.
Covers Rs. 10,000 per year for four years of B.Tech course.

The eligibility criteria for these scholarships are based on the marks obtained in 10+2 or equivalent examination and the annual family income of the students.

GIMT also supports students in obtaining government scholarships and stipends such as Kanyashree Prakalpa, Swami Vivekananda Merit-cum-Means Scholarship, Chief Minister Relief Fund, etc.
