Konkan Gyanpeeth College of Engineering has been established in the year 1994, by the Late Hon. Shri P.N. Dharkar and is affiliated by the University of Mumbai.

The campus of the college is spread over an area of 31 acres and includes main building consist of 18 classrooms, 3 drawing halls, 2 tutorial rooms, 7 bathrooms and 1 library. It also has canteen facility which can be used by the college staff and students.
Buses are provided to students for transport facility. They have various annual festivals such as a technical festival called Hyper – Kube, a cultural festival called “spring” – Fiesta which includes various events like Dance competitions, Fashion show, singing competition etc. and sports festival which includes both indoor and outdoor games such as Cricket, Football etc.
Students of this institute are placed in various companies which includes Accenture, Infosys, Larsen & Toubro Infotech, Reliance, Wipro, VSNL etc.

The candidates seeking admission at Konkan Gyanpeeth College of Engineering, Karjat are eligible for admission only if they qualify their class 12th or equivalent examination with minimum marks and MHT CET or JEE Mains.

Hostel facilities
There are around three boys hostel which can accommodate around 120 boys and a girls hostel which can accommodate at least 40 of them. The campus of the institute is spread over an area of 31 acres and includes best infrastructural facilities for the students.
There are around 18 classrooms, 3 drawing halls, 2 tutorial rooms, 7 bathrooms, a library consisting of 13,100 books including periodicals, journals and so on, cyber café etc. There are well equipped broadband internet connectivity for the students and the staff. The labs are also well equipped and the workshops are provided to the students to supplement the students with the help of practicals.
There are various recreational facilities present such as basketball court, football ground, cricket field, volleyball court, indoor fully equipped canteen for the students.
Other facilities
There are various amenities available to the students such as Fully Furnished and Well Stacked Library, Digital Library, Well Qualified, Highly Experienced and Eminent Faculties, 24×7 uninterrupted power supply with generator backup and much more.

Remarks
I do not have any bad remark about this college has everything about this college is good. Great experience and I met some great friends and also the faculty was very understanding. The college can work a bit update on the placement are the numbers companies were less than that i had expected but still i got placed so i was happy.
Entrance Exam
I got admitted into this university based on my jee mains score in which i had scored 105 marks. No i did not had to give any interview and was just selected based on my jee score. The reason i choose this college was because the faculty of the college is very experienced as well as the placement cell was great that what I had heard.
Fees
The fee was pretty affordable for me it was around 85k per annum and in which i am nit including the hostel fee. Also if you get in through jee and have a very good so you can get concession of a good amount.

Hostel and Facilities
Yes there are hostel facilities of the college and every room is cleaned everyday and also there is discipline in the hostel. Students who are interested in getting a hostel have to pay Rs 100000 which is inclusive in the fee of rupees 2.5 lacs. The food of the mess is also good and the best part is that the hostel air conditioned.
Alumni
Seniors have been great and as college has very strict ragging policy there's no ragging. Most of seniors are my friends. And they make sure that we have a very supportive and friendly environment where can learn.
Faculty
The faculty was great it was beyond my expectation. Most of them are IIT alumni nice and carry a lot of experience with them. So there no lacking on this end. They carry a lot of industry experience which makes learning a lot fun.
Campus Life
The campus and environment around is great so do not have to worry about anything. There a lot of activities always as well as workshops going on around here so that student get the required exposure. The colleges very strict tracking policy they felt there's no ragging. The gender ratio of the college is almost the same with a little bit higher on the boys side.
Academics
Exams can be hectic call it back depending upon the preparation of student. At the student is well prepared and has the depot the year exam son not it'll take but are hectic otherwise if you haven't study in your semester. also results are declared on time. No there is no bias in teaching as well as checking the paper
Internships
No i did not get any internship and had to do internship from outside. Also there is a certain credit your provided for internship so make sure you do it from my respectable position as there also highest chances of firing you back.
Loans and Scholarships
The college provide scholarship based on your jee mains score. also wants to keep the scholarship only available for one semester and if you want to continue what's you have to maintain over 3.5 cgpa. No i do not have any information about the loan
