Lm College Of Pharmacy Ahmedabad

L. M. College of Pharmacy (LMCP) is located in Ahmedabad in Gujarat. It was established in 1947 by Ahmedabad Education Society. It is a government-aided institute. 

The college has been affiliated with Gujarat Technological University since 2008.

LMCP offers different pharmacy courses. It began with a Bachelor's in Pharmacy and later introduced M.Pharm. The M.Pharm specializations include Pharmaceutical Technology, Pharmaceutical Microbiology, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmacognosy and Pharmacology. College's offerings also include D.Pharm, Ph.D. and Pharm. D programs.

The student population is around 20,000 with 40 faculty members. The college provides facilities like a library, laboratories, a canteen, medical services and a computer lab. It also has hostel accommodations for boys and girls.

Admissions happen mainly through a centralized system by the state and Gujarat Technological University. State-level Admission Committee for Professional Courses manages admissions for D.Pharm, B.Pharm and M.Pharm programs. The Pharm. D program admissions occur through Gujarat Technological University.

LMCP is approved by AICTE and PCI, New Delhi, Government of India. College has been accredited with an 'A' grade by NAAC. In 2023 NIRF ranked LMCP 58th for Pharmacy.

The college has collaborations with pharmaceutical companies and other universities. It has a good placement record with nearly 100% placements for postgraduate students with about 60% of these students have jobs in the USA.
