Dharmsinh Desai University (DDU) is located in Nadiad. It was established in 1964. DDU is a state public university and located on a 42-acre campus.

The university offers over 35 courses in areas like Technology, Dental Science, Pharmacy, Medical Science and Management & Information Science. The Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) program serves as its flagship offering.

The university admits around 800 undergraduate and 60 postgraduate students annually. Approximately 3000 students are enrolled in total.
