Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University (PDEU) (also known as Pandit Deendayal Energy University) is a private university in India. It was established in 2007 over 100 acres of campus.

PDEU specializes in energy and energy infrastructure. It offers undergraduate postgraduate and doctorate courses across many streams. Undergraduate courses include B.A, BBA, B.Tech, B.Com and BSc Postgraduate programs are M.Tech, MA and MBA.

The university operates multiple schools- School of Petroleum Engineering, School of Petroleum Technology, School of Technology and School of Liberal Studies. It has a faculty of 218 members 103 visiting faculty and 165 staff. PDEU has over 1,100 seats available for admission each year.

PDEU is approved by AICTE and recognized by UGC. It holds an NAAC "A++" accreditation. It has also received recognition from Scientific and Industrial Research Organization Government of India.

PDEU accepts scores from different national-level entrance exams, including JEE Main, GATE, CAT, XAT and NMAT. It also has separate entrance exams for courses like BA, B.Sc, B.Com, BBA and MSc

In the NIRF 2023 rankings, PDEU is placed between 101-150 in the "Engineering" category. It ranks as the top university in Gujarat according to the Gujarat State Ranking Framework. PDEU has been designated as a "Centre of Excellence Status" by Government of Gujarat.

Placement rate for 2023 drive was 90%. Over 100 companies recruited from the university. Highest offered package was INR 19 LPA while average package was INR 7.52 LPA.
