The Gujarat Forensic Science University (GFSU) is located in Gandhinagar. It is first university globally focused on Forensic, behavioral, cybersecurity, digital forensics and related sciences. The main goal of GFSU is to train experts in forensic sciences.

Government of Gujarat established university in 2009. GFSU is a State Public University and holds designation of an Institution of National Importance.

GFSU provides over 70 postgraduate and integrated courses. The university comprises different schools and centers that focus on Forensic Science, Cyber Security, Digital Forensics, Behavioral Sciences and more.

Since its inception GFSU has trained over 25,000 officers including 5,000 from 75 different countries. University features advanced infrastructure including multiple Centers of Excellence in different forensic and cybersecurity fields.

For admissions GFSU considers scores from different entrance exams based on specific course. For example, BSc LLB (Hons), BBA LLB (Hons) and LLM programs require CLAT 2024 scores.

GFSU's approvals include UGC and it has received an A grade from NAAC. It also has recognition from bodies like Bar Council of India AICTE and MCI.

University ranks 369th in India and 6332nd globally for 2024. GFSU collaborates academically with over 130 institutes worldwide and within India.
