Indus University Gandhinagar

Indus University was awarded a university status in 2012. It was formerly known as Indus Institute of Technology and Engineering which was set up in 2006. The university is located in Ahmedabad, Gajarat and it is promoted by Bhandari Charitable Trust.

The university has signed a MoU with Dassault Systemes. Under this agreement, the university will established Collaborative Learning and Innovation Centre (CLIC).

The university has a campus spread over 16 acres of land. It offers UG, PG and integrated courses in technology, architecture and science.

The university has formed a tie-up with Sias International University to set up a Centre of Excellence for Innovation at the university campus in China.

The courses offered by the university are approved by UGC, AICTE and Council of Architecture. The university has following constituent colleges –

• Indus Institute of Technology and Engineering (IITE)
• Institute of Information and Communication Technology (IICT)
• Institute of Aviation Technology and Engineering (IATE)
• Indus center for research, innovation and skill development (ICRISD)

Application and Admission Procedure

How to Apply?

Offline registration process: Interested candidate may get a PIN for admission registration from designated branched of Kodak Mahindra bank for Rs. 350/ in cash.

Online Registration process: The interested candidates may register on website.

Following this the candidate is required to approach a help centre with the original documents for verification and submit self attested photocopies at the centre. They get an acknowledgement slip after a successful registration and verification which they need to produce at the Indus University when applying for the course.

Candidates are to make an ID at the official college website and as per the schedule for the admission to the course they wish to pursue, need to submit their documents along with the acknowledge slip.

Campus Facilities

The campus size of the University is 16 hectares. The campus of the Indus University is spacious and includes hostels, canteen, academic blocks, big playgrounds, library and much more. The campus has solar panels of 120 kWh which makes it environment friendly.

There is a sports club, fitness center and gym in the campus. The campus has real airplanes which helps students to experience Aircraft maintenance.

The Indus University encourages its students to participate in various activities and it also gives opportunities to the students to organize several events. The University also provides sponsorship to its students.

There are sports events organized like handball, kabbadi and football tournaments. The university also organizes SAE Baja Competition for its students.
