Dhirubhai Ambani Institute of Information and Communication Technology is a private university founded in 2001, and accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). This institute is approved by Association of Indian Universities (AIU) in 2009. This university in included in the list of universities maintained by Universities Grant Commission (UGC).

This university offers courses in under graduate program, post graduate program, and Doctoral programs. The courses are offered in Information & Communication Technology and PhD.

The college campus is spread across a wide area which include a canteen, library, hostel facilities for boys and girls, an auditorium, a conference hall, sports ground, Banking facility, and much more. The university also comprises of Student Cell, IEEE student branch, and various clubs.

The admissions for under graduate programs are done on the basis of marks scored in the common Entrance Test and also on the basis of 12^th standard Merit List. While, admissions for post graduate programs are done on the basis of percentile scored in respective post graduate program.

Hostel and Facilities

Hostel:

Dhirubhai Ambani Institute of Information and Communication Technology has a sprawling verdant campus of is excellent in symmetry along with a refreshing and aesthetic appeal. It has a Lab Building which has a variety of technical and other labs. The campus also has a Gym, ATM, and a cooperative store.

There are two segregated hostels for men and women with a combined capacity of more than a 1000 students. The rooms are furnished with paid WiFi connection. Water and power supply are uninterrupted and solar water heaters are present as well. Food and water are available. TV room, store and laundry service are there in both the hostels.

Strict anti-ragging rules are present. Smoking and drinking within hostel premises are forbidden.

Other facilities:

There are beautiful lawns for relaxation and studying along with sports grounds for different outdoor games. Indoor games rooms are present on the campus too. Apart from these, there are Open Air Theatre, Sports and Culture Hall, Computer Lab, Library, Cafeteria, Music Room etc.

The annual technical and cultural fest called Synapse is a good platform for showcasing talents and being a part of the same. Cultural events such as Sangeet Sandhya, Drama and Dance Nights etc regale students amongst the hectic studies.

Students can join different creative, cultural, language, technical and knowledge themed clubs such as French Club, Headrush, Film Club, Aryans etc.

The college also has a Gender, Grievance Redressal and Entrepreneurship cells for the different needs of the educatees.
